FPT Partners with BIDV to Build a Comprehensive Digital Financial Ecosystem, Empowering Vietnamese Enterprises to Thrive in an Era of Uncertainty
Recently, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) hosted the BIDV Leadership Summit 2026 and officially launched its comprehensive digital ecosystem for enterprises—a strategic initiative designed to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of Vietnamese businesses. As part of this milestone, FPT reaffirmed its role as a key technology partner by supporting the development of BIDV TradeFlat, the bank’s international trade digitalization platform that serves as a core component of its digital ecosystem for import-export enterprises.
The summit was attended by Mr. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; representatives from the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, domestic and international economic experts, and more than 150 senior executives from business associations, enterprises, multinational corporations, fintech companies, and global e-commerce platforms.

During the event, economic experts and senior leaders painted a picture of an increasingly challenging global economy, where energy shocks, rising logistics costs, and shifting trade structures are placing significant pressure on businesses. In this environment, enterprises can no longer afford to wait for stability to return; instead, they must proactively strengthen their adaptability. Digital transformation has therefore evolved beyond an operational support tool to become a fundamental enabler that allows businesses to manage cash flow, optimize supply chains, and make real-time, data-driven decisions.

Representing the panel of experts, Mr. Nguyen Anh Son, Director General of the Agency of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, remarked:

Based on these foundations, the bank has developed a suite of integrated digital solutions, including BIDV eKYC, which serves as the gateway for enterprises entering the digital environment; BIDV Direct, a centralized financial management platform; BIDV SCF, a supply chain finance platform designed to connect participants and optimize cash flow; and BIDV Open API, an embedded finance solution that enables deeper integration of banking services into enterprise operations.
Among these solutions, BIDV TradeFlat stands out as a digital platform for international trade that seamlessly connects banks, customs authorities, logistics providers, and insurers through a unified system. More than just a technology solution, TradeFlat is positioned as an “operating system” for import-export activities, enabling businesses to manage their entire trade journey seamlessly, transparently, and in real time. Through this ecosystem, BIDV is gradually establishing a comprehensive digital infrastructure that connects key stakeholders across the economy, helping enterprises improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, and confidently expand into global markets.
