VioEdu online education system celebrates its 5th anniversary
On August 27, 2024, the VioEdu Online Education System celebrated its 5th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its development with numerous proud achievements.

Launched on August 27, 2019, VioEdu was created with the mission of pioneering educational innovation through the adoption of modern technology. As Vietnam’s first EdTech solution to apply AI and Big Data, VioEdu has provided high school students with a personalized, effective, and high-quality learning program. Over the past five years of development, VioEdu has reached impressive milestones, boasting 20 million users nationwide, nearly 2 million active accounts per month, and more than 1 billion practice sessions annually.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh (FPT Smart Cloud) expressed his passion and ideas on the journey of VioEdu’s development.
Speaking about the origin of VioEdu, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of FPT Smart Cloud, shared, “Building on the success of the “national” playground Violympic, which had 30 million users, and driven by the desire to revolutionize education, the FPT engineering team has researched, tested, and developed a product that not only supports student in learning but also offers a personalized system for everyone involved in education sector.”
Over the past five years, VioEdu has achieved several remarkable milestones:
- August 2019: Official launch.
- 2020-2021: VioEdu provided free services, supporting thousands of schools nationwide with online teaching, learning, and evaluation during the Covid-19 pandemic.
- 2021: VioEdu ranked among the top 8 most searched keywords on Google.
- 2022-2023: The VioEdu app consistently ranked among the top educational apps on the App Store.
- 2023-2024: VioEdu received numerous domestic and international prestigious awards in technology category, including the Silver Award at the ASEAN Digital Awards 2024, the Gold Award at the IBA Stevie Awards 2023, and the ASOCIO Awards 2023.
- 2024: VioEdu reached 20 million users, with 10 million students engaged, and facilitated 1 billion practice sessions per year.
Impressed with VioEdu’s achievements throughout 5 years, Mr. Tran Dang Hoa, Chairman of FPT IS, emphasized the potential of the EdTech market during the anniversary event. He underscored the expectation for VioEdu to continue leading the way in digital education, creating value for the community, and going global.
