akaVerse partners with DENSO Japan to apply NVIDIA technology in factory management and operation

akaVerse – FPT IS, in collaboration with FPT Automotive Japan and supported by FPT IS Global, has achieved a significant milestone by successfully signing the Digital Twin factory project for DENSO Japan. This project marks a major advancement in the application of virtual reality and digital twin technology in factory management and production operations.

Virtual reality technology creates immersive and lifelike experiences

In this project, a highly realistic digital twin of the Denso factory will be created using NVIDIA’s Omniverse technology, then connected to a virtual reality space developed by the akaVerse team. High-quality graphics, combined with real-time interaction capabilities, make factory management and operation more intuitive and efficient than ever before.

Virtual reality technology has brought about a new revolution in factory management and operations. Now, engineers and managers can control the entire production process more intuitively and efficiently with just a virtual reality headset. Not only does it save time and travel costs, it also enables quicker and more accurate identification and resolution of technical issues through direct connectivity and integration with the factory’s machinery. Besides Denso Japan, akaVerse is also closely cooperating with Denso Vietnam in Immersive Training projects using Virtual Reality technology, contributing to improving efficiency.

This Digital Twin project with Denso Japan is a significant achievement of the cross-selling program between FPT IS and FPT Software. The first prototype of the Digital Twin project with Denso Japan will be unveiled at a major event that Denso will participate in this coming November, promising to impress customers and partners. Both Denso and FPT expect this model to be replicated in other Denso plants and for other customers in the future.
